About Us

	Gus TeMoana is the owner/Operator of Tongariro Hotbus. He was born in Waihi on the southern shores of Lake Taupo. He has lived and worked in the area all his life. His business involves taking people to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing which is the world’s most famous walk The Hotbus also provides transport to the local attractions in Taupo. Gus enjoys most showing and helping visitors get to see and experience some of the wonders of the local areas such as the Tongariro Alpine Crossing Gus also owns a Charter boat Business in Taupo, called TeMoana Charters, which involves taking people trout fishing and scenic cruises on Lake Taupo. He has fished rainbow Trout and its many tributaries and therefore has a wealth of knowledge of this wonderful outdoor paradise.

	Gus also has help in the office from Carol Murch (Office Administrator) who was also born in the central North Island Taupo. Both Carol and Gus were brought up in Taupo which makes their business a more friendly approach to the people of the world.
